SAVE THE DATE! Sunday March 21st. Bishop Tobin will be here to celebrate the 11 o'clock Mass, after which will be the groundbreaking ceremony for our new church building!

Our choice as general contractor is Pariseault Builders of Warwick, RI, who was the lowest bidder. They have done several projects for the Diocese of Providence, including the construction of the chapel at St. Veronica's near Bonnet Shores. We are very happy to have them join us.

Please know that many things have taken place to arrive at this point, such as: the site was surveyed according to our Master Plan ($7,351); engineers developed and submitted plans for approval to the Town Council and Zoning Boards for the new 300 car parking lot, taking into consideration the underground septic systems and the wetlands ($103,741); architect drawings were needed to describe the design requirements of the new church building ($55,362); and construction of the parking lot was begun and finished in November, 2007 ($433,659). These are just a few of the many items and expenses that are part of the preparation of the new building.
