VOLUNTEERING AT GOF We most certainly need YOUR help!   Check all possible areas – no commitment.    ¨  Hospitality, Greeters and Seaters:   I / my family can do this ____ 1 hour at the session your will attend   Adults, teens or whole families are needed to check in participants and direct tables to the food lines at the beginning of the session.  ¨  Catechist (Teacher):  I can do this ____ 1.5 hours at one session other than the one you attend   Adults or teens needed to guide children through the planned lesson.  Group breakdowns typically are Ages 2-4, K-Gr 2, Gr 3-5 and Gr 6-8. Lessons and supplies are provided.  There may be one preparatory meeting prior to the session. ¨  Adult Facilitator:   I can do this ____ 1.5 hours at one session other than the one you attend   1 meeting prior to session. Methods will vary.    ¨   Decoration:   I / my family can do this ____ Hours and times varied  Adults, teens or whole families are  needed to work with a committee to create art & decorate the Parish Center areas. ¨  Kitchen Assistant:  I / my family can do this ____ 1.5-2 hours at one session other than the one you will attend    Adults,  teens and whole families are needed to help with food minimal food preparation (no cooking), buffet set up & restock, clean up after meal service, set up coffee and dessert.  Volunteers should arrive 30-45 minutes before the start of the session. ¨  Baker:   I / my family can do this ____ Can you bring a dozen cookies, brownies, dessert bars, cakes, etc. for the dessert tables for the session you attend? ¨  At Home / Office Helper:   I / my family can do this ____ Time will vary according to project. Location is up to you -- use your home or our office!  Projects may include calling families to remind them of session, preparing crafts for children’s activities, assembling home kits, ¨  Computer Technology Helper:   I / my family can do this ____ Time and projects will vary.
