“HONOR OUR PAST-INVEST IN OUR FUTURE” SECOND CAMPAIGN

We are launching our second major capital campaign this week – March 21, 2010.

Our first major campaign concluded on April 27, 2008 and reached its goal of $2.5M. This second campaign goal is to raise $1.5M. The estimated construction cost of the new 800 seat parish church is $4M. Our Honorary chairpersons of this campaign are Mr. & Mrs. Bernard Casey, who have been longstanding supports of our Master Plan.

“Honor Our Past-Invest in Our Future.” Gifts and pledge donor boards have been removed from the narthex and inside the church. The names and donations are being prepared for publication on our parish website. New displays will be arranged for gifts and pledge donations to our second Capital Campaign. These are temporary display boards and they will be combined to reflect a total pledge or donation on a permanent memorial board that will be prepared for display in the new church.

We are asking all parishioners to again support our capital campaign by their prayers and donations. We did not want to conduct the second campaign before the start of construction. These are difficult times, and I know every donation will be a sacrifice as well. However, many Rhode Island construction workers will benefit from the building of this church. We thank you for your consideration, and we hope that you can again be a major supporter of our new church and bring our hopes and dreams to a blessed reality.
